《文化•拓新》寓意“开拓” 与 “创新”。时代的巨轮不停地向前迈进,有些文化随着新时代发扬光大,有些文化已经默默地被遗忘在历史的轨迹里。当我们去发掘这些逐渐逝去的文化历史时,是否也应该做出改变,让它们能以自己独特的风格与意义继续在这城市里编写它们的故事。
新村正是逐渐消逝甚至快被人们淡忘的文化瑰宝。众所周知新村是华人在马来西亚的聚集地,更是老一辈华人的记忆归属。然而现在的年轻人对于新村并没有太多情感,以至于他们不会留恋与延承新村。因此身为华人子弟的我们应该开拓新的方向,做出新的突破,进而把新村的文化及历史以一种全新的方式呈现给大众。特此，《第五届大专青全国大专交流营文化号》通过《文化•拓新》文学征文比赛来邀大家一起述说自己的“新村故事” 。
‘Culture • Extension’ stands for ‘exploration’ and ‘innovation’ respectively. The era is constantly changing and developing, while some cultures have been diffused in line with the brand new era, unfortunately some have been gradually forgotten with the advance of the era. When we are rediscovering the ‘aging’ cultures and histories, should we make some changes so that these valuable hidden gems can stay on with their own extraordinary features and meanings, creating their beautiful stories unceasingly?
In the crosshairs, the new village is one of the cultures cum histories that has slowly been forgotten. We are aware that the new villages are the early settlements of the Chinese in Malaysia since the 1950s. However, the younger generations nowadays do not possess so much sentiment on the new villages, resulting in their indifference towards the inheritance of this culture. Thereby, we as Chinese ought to explore a new direction and make a novel breakthrough to present the culture and history of the new villages to members of the public. As such, the GRADUAN NIVC Camp 5.0 is organising a literary competition which embraces the theme of ‘Culture • Extension’, inviting everyone to tell his/her own ‘new village story’.

（一）公开组 Open Category
- 参赛资格：开放予有兴趣的马来西亚公民报名参加，包括所有国立或私立大专生、毕业生及各阶层人士皆可报名参加。
- 作品字数：不超过 4000 字，包括标点符。
- Eligibility: Open to all Malaysian citizens including college students, graduates and working adults.
- Word Count: Not more than 4000 words, including punctuation marks.
（二）中学组 Secondary Category
- 参赛资格：公开予就读任何国中、国民型中学（预备班至中六生）、独立中学（初一至高三生）、私立中学 及 国际学校的马来西亚籍学生。
- 作品字数：不超过 3000 字，包括标点符号。
- Eligibility: Open to all secondary school students in Malaysia.
- Word Count: Not more than 3000 words, including punctuation marks.

优秀组织奖：根据该大学团体为此征文比赛积极推广宣传及对大学生的号召力而定。总参赛人数最多的大学将获额外加分。主办方将颁发奖状证书予获奖大专组织以资感谢该组织的支持。

每位参赛者将获得由马来西亚大专青年协会颁发的电子参赛证书。
Each participant will receive an electronic Certificate of Participation issued by GRADUAN Malaysia.

- 作品题材需以“新村” 为主题。
- 参赛作品的格式为：行距 = 1.5，字体 = 宋体，大小 = 12
- 参赛作品类型可为散文或小说，题目可由参赛者自行决定，内容自由发挥。
- 参赛作品需含有题目、页数及字数。
- 支持华文原创作品，翻译作品一概不受理。
- 遏止不端行为如抄袭。若遭揭发，其得奖资格将被取消，参赛者需退还所有奖品。
- 参赛作品需是未曾发表之作，严禁一稿两投。一经揭发，将取消其参赛资格。
- 倘若参赛作品触犯版权，或涉及法律诉讼，参赛者将自行承担后果。
- 每位参赛者只限投稿一篇参赛作品。
- 参赛者不可在呈交报名表格之后更改参赛作品。
- 主办方有权管理、保存、结集、转载或在国内外发表参赛出版作品，主办方将不另外支付稿费及版权费。
- 凡不符合参赛资格及条规的作品将自动被取消其参赛资格。
- 主办方保有修改条规的权利。
- The theme of the work must be revolving around “New Village”.
- The formats of each submission are: Line Spacing = 1.5, Font = Chinese Song Ti, Font Size = 12
- The work can be either a prose or a novel. The title can be decided by participants themselves and there is no restriction on the content.
- There must be a title, page numbers and word count in each work.
- All works must be originally produced, and translated ones will not be accepted.
- Participants who submit plagiarised works will be automatically disqualified.
- Work previously produced and published elsewhere is not eligible.
- If there is any copyright infringement or violation of law pertaining to the works, participants shall bear the full responsibilities.
- Each participant is allowed to submit only ONE (1) work.
- All participants are not allowed to amend the work after completing the submission process.
- All participants hereby authorise the organiser to manage, keep, congregate, reproduce and/or publish the winning entries locally and internationally for marketing and promotional purposes without imposing any additional charges.
- The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any submission which fails to abide by the rules and regulations.
- The organiser reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notice.

- 参赛者只需交上作品的软副本，需存在 Word Document 格式。
- 参赛者可通过《大专青文化号》官方网站 报名及呈交参赛作品。
- All participants are required to submit their works in soft copies and save as a Word Document.
- All participants can register and submit the work via the official website of GRADUAN NIVC Camp.

审评方式 Judging Process
审评方式 Judging Process
1. 主办方将邀请文教界专业人士担任评委。
The organiser will invite professionals in the field to serve as judges.
2. 公平起见，每篇作品均以编号代替。
Each submission will be replaced by a code for the purpose of anonymous judging.
3. 倘若参赛作品水平欠佳，评委有权宣布悬空奖项。
If the quality of the works does not merit an award, no award will be given.
4. 评委们的评决为最终决定，谢绝上诉。
The decision of the judges is final and any form of correspondence will not be entertained.揭晓成绩 Announcement of Results

- 得奖名单将于2020年12月间发布。
- 主办方将会通过面子书专页 『大专青文化号』公布获奖者姓名以及获奖作品。
- 主办方将通过电子邮件通知得奖者。
- 主办方将通过线上转账方式将奖金汇入得奖者户口。
- 奖状将通过电邮方式给予得奖者及参赛者。
- All results will be announced in December 2020.
- All winners’ names will be published on the official Facebook page of the GRADUAN NIVC Camp.
- All winners will be notified by email.
- All cash prizes will be transferred online to the bank accounts of the winners.
- All Electronic Certificates of Achievement will be sent to the participants via email.
